The Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University continues to fortify its Apiculture advocacy to various entities and institutions throughout the country.
DMMMSU President, Atty. Benjamin P. Sapitula, had just concluded the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement with the Laguna State Polytechnic University in San Pablo City, Laguna.
DMMMSU is the Philippines' training center for Apiculture, where the National Apiculture Research and Training Development Institute is situated.
Apiculture is the art and science of raising and caring bees for commercial or agricultural purposes. A beekeeper (or apiarist) keeps bees in order to collect their honey and other products that the hive produces (including beeswax, propolis, pollen, and royal jelly), to pollinate crops, or to produce bees for sale.
