THE MUSIC MAESTRO | There’s nothing more promising than a maestro who keeps no trade secrets, and who continues to share his wealth of music knowledge to generations across cultures.

Dr. Bienvenido B. Constantino, Jr, faculty member of DMMMSU-SLUC, is driven by a passion to mentor, educate, and contribute to the flourishing ASEAN musical talents.

On August 27-31, 2019, Dr. Constantino was invited as jury in the 4th North Sumatra International Choir Festival— with four other international juries from Canada, Belarus, Sweden and Indonesia. Participated by four Philippine choirs and 20 Indonesian choirs, the competition was held in Lake Toba, Parapat, North Sumatra, Indonesia.

On September 2-8, 2019, he was again invited as member of the jury in the Penabur International Choir Festival in Jakarta, Indonesia. Among other judges are from Belarus, Sweden, USA, Taiwan, Japan, Latvia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and Indonesia. The festival was participated by 153 choirs.

Dr. Constantino also served as conductor for Cordillera Chamber Singers that emerged as champion of the Folklore category, and gold medalist in the chamber category.
