CHED Regional Office 1 tapped Dr. Stephan Kupsch as presenter for its webinar scheduled tomorrow, May 21, 2020 through its Transforming the Education Ecosystem in the New Normal (TEENN) Webinar Series 2020.

Dr. Kupsch will talk on the topic Interconnecting Campuses through Open Source Technology. Dr. Kupsch is DMMMSU’s Director for Management Information Systems (MIS). He has the following qualifications obtained from Berlin, Germany:

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Cloud Infrastructure
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Server Infrastructure
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP): Routing and Switching
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library V4 (ITILv4): Foundation Level

Dr. Kupsch has numerous paper presentations in international conferences and publications in Scopus-indexed journals. He has been commissioned as a reviewer of researches in his field. He served as keynote and plenary speaker in workshops and conferences — the HFSE International School in Singapore on 2019, Edutech Philippines 2019, and Edutech Asia 2018 – to name a few.  He is engaged in different organizations e.g. the Association of Scholarly Editors, Association of Scholarly Peer Reviewers, and Philippine Association of Institutions for Research, Inc. .           

He has been recently recruited as a member of the Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) Commission on Higher Education Regional Office 1 (CHEDRO1) for Information Technology Programs.

Through his initiatives as MIS Director of DMMMSU, DMMMSUNet was established. Through DMMMSUNet, personnel from various campuses and units can readily access data. This eased the sharing of documents among campuses and units.

As for his online webinar tomorrow, interested participants do not need to worry about registration as they can simply watch the livestream presentation through CHED Region 1 Facebook Page.  The livestream is scheduled tomorrow at thirty minutes past 10 in the morning. (Ayu)
