Honorables Victor F. Ortega and Mary Jane C. Ortega visited the College of Law which is housed in the Mid La Union Campus on Friday, September 3, 2021 and brought as their donations volumes of Law books.
Along with the Law books is a book significant to the Ortegas and the people of La Union. This book titled ‘Abel iti Biag ni Victor: Seasons of Life’ was authored by Hon. Mary Jane herself, who obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree Major in English and Spanish from the Letran College, and Master of Arts in Language Teaching from the Ateneo de Manila University.
With her is Hon. Victor F. Ortega breaking a radiant smile.
As for the books donated, Atty. Kristine Gay B. Balanag, Assistant Dean of the College of Law and Director for Administrative Services, remarked in a pervious interview, “We’re grateful for the Ortegas’ gifting us with these law books. They are a great addition to the collections we have in the College of Law.”

Dr. Eduardo C. Corpuz, MLUC Chancellor, also expressed his thanks for the Ortega’s. “Their paying us visits and their gestures of support as demonstrated in various forms of projects encourage us members of the academe to continue to do our best in providing our students quality service,” he added.
As educators and advocates of quality education, the Ortegas have been providing DMMMSU immense support. They have been continuously allocating funds for various infrastructure projects for DMMMSU. (Ayu)
