IQAS unit unveils IQA auditors for AY 2021-2022

The Internal Quality Assurance (IQAS) unit headed by Dr. Angelita J. Prado, Director for Quality Assurance, with the support and supervision of Dr. Estrella N. Perez, Vice President for Administration and Quality Management Representative of the University, recognized the new set of Internal Quality Audit (IQA) auditors of DMMMSU via a virtual meeting last August 26, 2021.

These auditors underwent rigorous virtual training on Internal Quality Audit particularly on ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System and ISO 19011: 2018 Guidelines for Auditing Management Systems last July 28-30, 2021 and subjected themselves for examination conducted by the JBDC Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Consultancy who served as the learning service provider.

 “I am excited and at the same time quite nervous of this new assignment. I know that this is not an easy job but as an IQA auditor, I will do my best to deliver what is expected of me primarily in ensuring that our Standard Operating Procedures in the university is properly implemented”, Mr. Randulph I. Navasca, NLUC Faculty and new IQA auditor said when asked about his feeling after being identified as one of the new IQA auditor of the university.

On the other hand, Dr. Angelita J. Prado stated in her remarks that “the role of IQA auditors is so crucial as they are the partners of the top management in ensuring quality performances in the delivery of various processes in the university”. (NB Tugelida)
