As DMMMSU has recently launched Agri-Aqua Technology (ATBI) Phase II, numerous incubatees have sought the help of DMMMSU-ATBI for business start-up.

Another incubatee from Balaoan, La Union, Mrs. Mildred Magtoto, forged a Memorandum of Agreement with DMMMSU at the Central Administration Building, Bacnotan, La Union on September 24, 2021.

As an incubatee and advocate for food security, Mrs. Magtoto is adopting ‘Catfish Grow-out and Hatchery Technology’, a newly added commodity of ATBI.

ATBI Centers are funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARRD). ATBI Program aims to accelerate technology-based start-ups and helps incubatees scale their business up. (Prof. Victoria Malaya)
