The College of Agriculture (SLUC) conducted training on nursery management for vegetable seedling on December 14, off-season tomato and pepper production on December 15, and vermicomposting on December 16. Each of these trainings were actively participated in by 25 farmers and vegetable and vermi growers from La Union.

Highlight of their December culminating activities is their completion of the Department of Agriculture- Agricultural Training Institute (DA-ATI) – funded project “Enhancing the Productivity of Integrated-Diversified Farms and Community-Based Food Processing Program” which is worth 1.2 million pesos.
