Twenty faculty members from the College of Computer Science (CCS) participated in a training workshop on Google Certified Educator (GCE) Level 1 on December 9-10, 2021 and passed the online assessment.

The 22 newly certified GCEs are Abad, Enrique G., Albarillo, Clarisa V., Ancheta, Jocelyn I., Baculo, Maria Jeseca C., Bacungan, Ezekiel O., Balcita, Amy P., Cacayuran, Kristoffer Camille A., Dacaymat, Lucille N., Dilan, Raymund E., Dungan, Belinda M., Estilong, Jon Kalvin J., Imatong, Anthony T., Malaya, Ara Rivina N., Mendoza, Fernan H., Mendoza, Maria Concepcion B., Munar, Emely A., Parrocha, Ronald M., Rivera, Nema Rose D., Songcuan, Jerome P., Suguitan, Samuel O., Veras, Agustin Jr. R., and Villanueva, Carlos A.

Ten faculty members who had first passed the GCE Level 1 Certification served as trainers and facilitators. They were spearheaded by the College Dean, Prof. Darwin C. Llavore.

Currently, 32 out of 34 faculty members are now Google Certified Educators (Level I). The College plans to offer this extension program to educators to enhance their skills which are necessary in delivering quality instruction. (Belinda Dungan)
