As the May 2022 National Elections is fast approaching, DMMMSU-Mid La Union Campus invites all students, personnel and other stakeholders to join the voter’s education webinar dubbed as “Sa Mayo 2022, Boboto Ako!”.

This online activity aims to promote awareness to registered voters of the university as to how the national and local elections will be administered amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, the webinar will include a demonstration on how the vote counting machines (VCMs) operate. Most importantly, it will help voters decide on who to elect and represent them in the government.
Dir. James B. Jimenez of the Commission on Elections – Manila and Rev. Fr. Albert Feliciano of TIGNAY-PPCRV of Diocese of San Fernando of La Union will serve as resource persons during the said event. Dir. Jimenez who is the Director of the Education and Information Department will talk on the administration of national and local elections given the threat of COVID-19 virus still exists. On the other hand, Rev. Fr. Feliciano will give some insights on who a “maka-Pilipinas” candidate is.
The voter’s education webinar will be streamed live on MLUC Facebook page and participants may join via Zoom on February 4, 2022, Friday, at 9 in the morning. This event is spearheaded by the Office of Student Affairs and Services of the Mid La Union Campus. (Bench Lamadrid)
