The National Apiculture Research, Training and Development Institute (NARTDI) and Sericulture Research and Development Institute (SRI) participated in the Saluad La Union para Serbisio, Agri-turismo, Lako ken Oportunidad (SaLU-SALO) Agri-Tourism Fair 2022 held on February 28- March 6, 2022 at the CSI Mall, San Fernando City, La Union.
NARTDI’s observation hive and products such as pure honey, honey wines, honey-fruit wines, and liquid soaps with honey and SRDI’s silk fabrics and crafts were displayed in the booth of the Municipality of the Bacnotan, La Union.
On March 1, 2022, the two research institutes took part in the presentation of the services and products in the Municipality of Bacnotan. Mr. George T. Bondot, NARTDI Division Chief for Extension and Development, and Ms. Delia V. Lopez, SRDI In-charge for Training and Communication, presented the services and products of NARTDI and SRDI.
The said event is part of the celebration of the 172nd La Union Foundation Anniversary that aims to highlight Agri-Tourism produce and destinations in the province as well as local businesses and industries’ services and products. (Lester Orpilla)
