Committed in the fulfillment of the University’s shared vision, mission, goals and quality policy, the DMMMSU-SLUC Non-Teaching Association (NTA) headed by its President, Ms. Rima Q. Baldemor, conducted an Orientation and Capability Building Activity in Razaland Resort, Tubao, La union on July 13, 2022.

SLUC Chancellor, Dr. Joanne C. Rivera, delivered her Opening Remarks, and emphasized the importance of harmony and camaraderie within the association, and provided a message of support to strengthen the personnels’ confidence in understanding where the organization is heading, and what for, how best to contribute to the University.

Prof. Prescilita M. Villanueva, Campus HRMO, discussed some updates on HR matters; while, Dr, Emmanuel J. Songcuan, Head of Internal Quality Assurance System talked on QMS Awareness. On a separate topic, Dr. Joycelyn T. Damaso, Head of the Business Affairs Unit, reminded participants the importance of teamwork in an organization.

After the lecture series, Dr. Rodelio V. Indong, together with Mr. Marvin Tandas, Mr. Alexander Lopez and Mr. Benigno Roxas, Jr. facilitated the team building activities composed of exciting group games and fun activities.

The Green Team emerged as champion, with the Pink and Blue Teams as 1st and 2nd runner up, respectively. The one-day team bonding activity deepened the interpersonal relationships and spirit of camaraderie among the team members. (JRBJ)
