DMMMSU intensifies its internationalization efforts by partnering with more foreign schools, universities, and industries for academic and research mobility overseas and ends 2022 with its 12th Memorandum of Agreement/Understanding signed— this time, with the Thai Tech Group in a bench learning and ceremonial signing of the renewal of MOU at Bangkok, Thailand on December 26-28, 2022.

Thai Tech Group, with educational institutions Thaksina Business Technological College (TSN) and Thai Ayothaya Business Administration Technological College (TAB), agreed to focus more on the capacity-building element and look for mechanisms that would pave the way for more students, faculty and staff to participate in research and academic mobilities.
Ms. Kamonchanok Pookayaporn, Licencee’s Representative of Thai Tech Group, expressed her gratitude and hope that Thai Tech Group and its schools will further engage with online and onsite endeavors with DMMMSU over the next five years.
Thai Tech Group is also eyeing to establish DMMMSU graduate studies in Bangkok where their teachers employed in its network could enroll in customized master’s or doctorate degrees in DMMMSU.
To start during the first half of the year is a faculty exchange program. DMMMSU faculty members, upon the recommendation of the Office of Internationalization and Linkages, and approval of the University President, may be able to teach for a certain period of time at Thai Tech Group’s colleges in Bangkok.
DMMMSU delegation also conducted a series of talks to Thai Tech Group’s network schools and shared lectures on internationalization and linkages, and instruction and research topics during the bench learning activity that was participated in by TSN and TAB faculty members.
University President Dr. Jaime I. Manuel, Jr. thanked the officials of the Thai Tech Group for accommodating the delegations from DMMMSU. He also stressed that the MOU signed “will enable more exchange students and scholars and expand collaborations in the significant research initiatives in the humanities and scientific sectors”.
In 2021, Thai Tech Group partnered with DMMMSU for the Digital Boot Camp on Essential English for Cross-Cultural Communication for ASEAN. Cultural collaborative activities and consultancy programs for English language teaching and learning were also conducted online with Thai Tech Group from November 2021 to February 2022. Moreover, Thai Tech Group participated in the ASEAN Week celebration hosted by DMMMSU— through a Khon Dance: The Legacy of the Rayamana performance in August 2022. (Jesus Rafael B. Jarata)
