53 fourth year students of the Bachelor of Arts in Filipino successfully finished their three-day pre-internship seminar-workshop at the South La Union Campus Main Library on January 25-27, 2023 with the theme “Alamin, Matuto at Isabuhay Yamang Kaalaman: Isang Treyning-Workshop.” The seminar-workshop served as a preparation for their on-the-job training.

Dr. Nancy F. Galban, Head of the Library Services and Development, along with the three librarians namely: Ana Nova L. Parrocha, Kethley Joyce P. Vizmanos, and Louie Albert A. Julaila served as the learning service providers. Library and librarianship, readers’ services, reference services, technical services and bibliographic service with the use of American Psychological Association (APA) format 7th edition were among the topics discussed.

The three-day activity culminated with a workshop on the different works in the library. Dr. Renante D. Malagayo, Chairperson of BA Filipino, wrapped up the event with his message. Dr. Rhodora B.
