The College of Computer Science, in collaboration with the Computer Science Club (CSC), conducted an intensive 40-hour training workshop for third year students from June 20 to 23 and 26, 2023. The workshop focused on practical skills development in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and PC Troubleshooting and Maintenance. Led by the esteemed Dean, Prof. Darwin C. Llavore, and spearheaded by Mr. Noel R. Diaz, the President of CSC, the workshop took place in the laboratories of the College of Computer Science. Dr. Amy P. Balcita and Prof. Charlie S. Marzan, advisers of the CSC also participated to make the event possible.

The workshop featured competent lecturers Dr. Richard M. Marzan, Mr. Kristoffer Camille Cacayuran, Mr. Ronald M. Parrocha, and new members of the CCS alumni from the batch of 2023. A total of 235 students, all prepared for their OJT deployment, actively participated in the immersive hands-on training. (By Belinda D. Celestial)
