Various operating units of the University showcased their research, innovation, and extension-related outputs and products during the exhibit at the South La Union Campus from January 15 to 18, 2024. This was part of the 43rd Foundation Anniversary Celebration of the University.

Eight operating units, namely the North La Union Campus, the Mid La Union Campus, South La Union Campus, the Open University System, the Sericulture Research and Development Institute, and the  National Apiculture Research Training and Development Institute plus the DMMMSU- Agri Aqua Technology Business Incubation (DATBI) unit under the University Research, Development, and Innovation Office and the Philippine Carabao Center participated in the weeklong activity at the JDA Hall parking grounds. Partner agencies and cooperators, namely the Department of Social Welfare and Development- Regional Rehabilitation Center for the Youth, and Ubagan Fisherfolk Association, also joined in the exhibit.

President Jaime I. Manuel, Jr. led the ribbon-cutting ceremony and opening of the exhibits on January 15. He was assisted by the Vice President for Research, Development, and Innovation, Dr. Angelina T. Gonzales, Extension Director Prof. Emerita D. Galiste, and Innovation, Technology & Commercialization Director, Prof. Victoria N. Malaya.

Various research, innovation-based, and commercially viable products from various units were displayed and sold. These include solar sea salt products, research-based value-added seaweed products, seaweed-based hand soap, bottled bangus products, honey and honey-based products, and silkworm products, among others.
