Dr. Eduardo C. Corpuz, MLUC Chancellor, was given a plaque of recognition by the Philippine Coast Guard District North Western Luzon (CGDNWLZN). The awarding ceremony coincided with the 40th Foundation Anniversary Celebration of CGDNWLZN.  Dr. Corpuz was recognized for his invaluable contributions to and steadfast support of the mission and objectives of CGDNWLZN over the years.

CGDNWLZN, through CG Adm Ronnie Gil L. Gavan, and DMMMSU, through Chancellor Corpuz, further forged collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to launch the T.E.C.H. Program (Technology, Evolution, Communication, and Harmony).

The MOA signifies a strategic partnership aimed at equipping CGDNWLZN personnel with the necessary training and expertise to meet the evolving technological demands of the maritime sector.

Dr. Alvin R. Malicdem, Dean of the College of Information Technology, and Dr. Benigno Ganalon, Head of Extension, were also present during the MOA signing. (By Arrianne Michelle Florendo-Fabro)
