Eleven personnel from DMMMSU actively participated in the COMMTECH Nusantara 2024 (Virtual Exploration of Indonesia- Ramadhan Edition) from March 25 to April 5, 2024. The event, held virtually, aimed to offer participants worldwide a glimpse into the rich tapestry of Indonesian cultures.

They seized the opportunity to broaden their cultural horizons and connect with counterparts from Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Russia, China, Japan, and Pakistan. Through active participation and engagement, they contributed to the spirit of cross-cultural exchange and understanding that the event aimed to foster. Their participation is a demonstration of their commitment to embracing diversity and fostering global connections in the realm of cultural exchange and education.

Organized by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Surabaya, Indonesia, the program served as a short but immersive experience highlighting various aspects of Indonesian heritage and tradition. Participants from different corners of the globe were treated to a diverse array of cultural presentations, performances, and interactive sessions throughout the duration of the event.

ITS is a national public university in Surabaya, East Java, strongly emphasizing scientific, engineering, and vocational education systems. It is ranked 1st in Indonesia and 64th in the world based on the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Ranking 2021.
