The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP) recognized Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) as one of the top three performing State Universities and Colleges in the Philippines. 

The award was presented during the 38th AACCUP Annual National Conference, held at Marikina Polytechnic College from March 7, 2025. This recognition highlights DMMMSU’s outstanding achievement in having one of the highest numbers of Level II accredited programs in the country.

Themed “Elevate, Empower, and Expand QA in Higher Education,” the conference gathered educational leaders and institutions dedicated to upholding and enhancing quality assurance in higher education.

Dr. Milabel E. Ho, Ed.D., RN, AACCUP’s Executive Director, and Dr. Anthony M. Penaso, Ph.D., AACCUP President and Chairman, officially signed the award. 

In 2020, DMMMSU was lauded by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. for being the Top 1 in the Highest Number of Level IV Accredited Programs and Top 3 in the Highest Number of Level III Accredited Programs. In 2019, DMMMSU was Top 3 in the Highest Number of Level IV Accredited Programs. 

This achievement further strengthens DMMMSU’s reputation as a leader in academic excellence and program accreditation. (By Ayu)
