Six top-performing BS Fisheries graduates from the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – South La Union Campus (DMMMSU-SLUC) received cash incentives as part of the Fisheries Scholarship Program of the Bureau of Fisheries (BFAR). The event was held at the Administration Building, SLUC, Agoo, La Union, on May 30, 2025, after the 44th Commencement Exercises in the morning. 

BFAR-Cordillera Administrative Region (BFAR-CAR) Regional Director Lois June B. Fermin, together with DMMMSU President Jaime I. Manuel, and their respective Scholarship Coordinators presented the Honor Graduates with Plaques of Recognition and Cash Incentives amounting to Php 20,000  for Cum laude and Php 30,000 for Magna cum laude recipients.
