DMMMSU was honored by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) during the “Ranked & Recognized: A Celebration of Philippine Higher Education Excellence,” held at the CHED Central Office, Diliman, Quezon City on June 24, 2025.
Prof. Lilito D. Gavina, Vice President for Administration and Quality Assurance, and Dr. Jesus Rafael B. Jarata, Director for International Affairs, represented DMMMSU.
DMMMSU earned recognition for its strong showing in the 2025 Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, placing in the 1001–1500 bracket overall. The university’s improved performance across several Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) categories highlights its growing dedication to social responsibility, sustainability, and making a meaningful impact on both local and global communities.
CHED Chairperson Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis delivered a congratulatory message. Rev. Fr. Roberto C. Yap, SJ, President of Ateneo de Manila University, spoke on behalf of the honored institutions.
A highlight of the event was a presentation by Mariano Marcos State University on the SDGID Project, which aligns education with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
