Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – Mid La Union Campus (DMMMSU-MLUC), in partnership with the San Fernando City Health Office, conducted a comprehensive fumigation operation on July 4, 2025.

The activity was scheduled ahead of the July 7 opening of classes to help ensure a clean and safe environment for students, faculty members, and staff.

The operation included various buildings and outdoor areas across the campus, focusing on the removal of potential pest breeding sites. University personnel worked alongside City Health Office staff to complete the process.

The fumigation is part of routine campus maintenance efforts aimed at supporting public health and safety in preparation for the upcoming academic year.  (By Arrianne Michelle F. Fabro)
