The Planning & Resource Development Office of the North La Union Campus, headed by Engr. Roy N. Laquidan, spearheaded the recently concluded 2021 Performance Review and Presentation of CY 2022 Operational Plan held at the FRTI Marine Center, Paraoir, Balaoan, La Union on December 21-22, 2021.
The activity aimed to determine the commendable achievements and the needing improvement of the projects/programs based on the accomplishment and operational plan of each unit/office.
The two-day event was attended in by heads of both the academic group and the non-academic group. The North La Union Campus Deans and Directors of academic units as well as the Heads of Instruction, Research, Extension, and Fisheries Research Training Institute presented their 2021 accomplishment reports and CY 2022 operational plans on the first day.
The non-academic group which comprises 22 heads of offices namely: Administrative Services, Finance, Supply, Human Resource, Records, Security, Internal Audit, Planning and Resource Development, Procurement, Medical Services, Sports & Development Services, Cultural Affairs, NSTP, Library Services & Development, Student Admission & Records, Student Affairs Services, Alumni Affairs, Internationalization & Linkages, Management Information Systems, Business Affairs & Resource Generation, Quality Assurance Services and Auxiliary Services presented on the second day.
Engr. R. Laquidan stated the purpose of the activity and gave the guidelines for the duration of the presentations. His opening was followed by the presentation of the 2021 accomplishment reports and 2022 operational plans.
The feedback from the panel members, namely: Prof. Lilito D. Gavina Director of Planning and Development, Prof. Rodolfo G. Nillo, President of the Faculty Association of NLUC, Mr. Felix Benigno N. Navalta, President of the Non-Teaching Association of NLUC, and Ace A. Orfiano, Chairman of the Campus CSB followed.
Dr. Junifer Rey E. Tabanfunda, NLUC Chancellor, expressed his appreciation to the Planning & Resource Development Office for their effort and dedication to ensure that plans are achieved, and goals are set in terms of productivity, efficiency, education, communication, creativity and problem-solving, documentation, program maintenance, leadership, attendance and dependency, time management, safety and compliance, and project management for the benefit of the clients the Campus serves.
