After a semester-long asynchronous and synchronous English consultancy and mentoring sessions between Thai Tech Group students and DMMMSU teacher-mentors, a closing ceremony and academic conversations were held last March 24, 2022.
This is a program within the framework of cooperation agreements on the staff and students exchange between the two Universities—to carry out cooperative activities on the basis of mutual benefit—specifically on the areas of hospitality and business administration, information technology, and other areas/disciplines offered by the two Institutions.
In (onsite and online) attendance were approximately 50 students and faculty members from Thaksina Business Technological College (TSN) of the Thai Tech Group, and faculty members and administrative staff of DMMMSU.
Mr. Rafael C. Marfil, Jr. Assistant Director of TSN, on behalf of Mrs. Puttachard Suphalucksana, Director of the Center for International Education Promotion, thanked DMMMSU for putting so much effort in successfully pulling off the virtual collaboration. In particular, Mr. Marfil thanked the DMMMSU teacher-consultants for mentoring their students.

Dr. Jesus Rafael B. Jarata, Director for Internationalization, Linkages and ETEEAP, highlighted the importance of internationalization activities—stating that it is targeting United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 4 on “ensuring inclusive and equitable education and promoting lifelong opportunities to all”.

Dr. Elsie M.Pacho, Vice President for Academic Affairs, remains hopeful that Thai Tech students would go far because of their exposure to internationalization activities and opportunities such as this program collaborated between DMMMSU and Thai Tech Group.

DMMMSU mentors and TSN students also delivered their speeches as they reflected on their virtual study experience, which run for four months from December 2021 to March 2022.
