DMMMSU faculty members and researchers convened at the DMMMSU-FRTI Beach House, Balaoan, La Union, on November 22, 2023, for the Capacity Reinforcement Training on Agribusiness Project/Research Proposal Presentation of Outputs.

Setting the tone for the day, Dr. Arnelie G. Laquidan, Director of the Institute of Agribusiness Management, extended a warm welcome to all participants, creating an atmosphere of collaboration and shared enthusiasm for agribusiness research. Experts and evaluators graced the program. They are Dr. Rachid El Hafid, Catalyste+ Advisor, Dr. Minerva Tabafunda, Head of NLUC Research, and Mr. William Gayo, Campus Statistician.
Seven (7) research proposals, each focused on the dynamic field of agribusiness, were presented. These proposals showcased innovative and practical approaches, demonstrating the participants’ dedication to advancing agribusiness research and applying the insights learned from the lectures of the Catalyste+ Advisor, Dr. Rachid El Hafid.
Concluding the session of presentations and evaluations, Dr. Rachid El Hafid addressed all participants, expressing commendation for their work and emphasizing the vital significance of crafting a solid research proposal. Dr. Rachid commended their efforts and reminded them of the instrumental role that a well-crafted research proposal plays in the research journey.
Wrapping up the program, Engr. Raffy M. Espiritu encapsulated his closing remarks with gratitude, encouragement, and a sense of collective accomplishment to all the participants. (By Leny Grace Garcia)
