To determine the programs’ readiness for external review in October, four (4) programs of the College of Graduate Studies (CGS) and one (1) program of the College of Community Health and Allied Medical Sciences underwent the internal assessment conducted by the internal accreditors headed by Dr. Honorio C. Buccat and Dr. Elsie M. Pacho today at the Administration Building Conference Room.

Among the internal evaluators who examined the documents of Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Administration, Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics Education, Master of Arts in Physical Education, Master in Development Administration and Bachelor of Science in Nursing are Dr. Rosemarie Mendoza (VMGO), Dr. Remalyn Casem (Faculty), Dr. Ma. Teresa Acantilado and Dr. Ophelia Cardenas (Curriculum), Dr. Alfonso Lopez (Students), Prof. Marylen Rodriguez (Research), Dr. Jake Tyrone Somera (Extension), Dir. Liceria Enteria (Library), Engr. Reynaldo Lilan (Physical Plant and Facilities), Engr. Eusebio Mique, Jr. (Laboratory), and Dr. Josephine Gimpaya (Administration).

The said programs will undergo Level III Phase 1 (BSN), Level II (PhD EdAd, PhD MAth Ed, MAPE), and Level I (MDA) accreditation on October 15-17, 2019.

During the exit conference and closing program, Dr. Buccat, Vice President for Academic Affairs, left the two colleges with a challenge: “We are ready. We are capable. We will pass the accrediation levels one to three phase 1.”

Prof. Ofelia Valdehueza, CCHAMS dean and Dr. Adelina Ancheta, CGS OIC, accepted the challenge and pledged to put out their best efforts in preparing and producing needed documents to surpass their program accreditations.

The campus head for instruction, Dr. Nona M. Rivera, and the quality assurance unit spearheaded the said internal assessment.
