The 23rd Sangguniang Panlalawigan of La Union, during its 55th Regular Session, has passed a resolution acknowledging Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University-Mid La Union Campus, College of Education, as a distinguished college institution in the province. This recognition is based on the university’s exceptional performance in the March 2023 and October 2022 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), where it surpassed the national average rate.

The commendation was granted through Resolution No. 1098-2023, which was authored by Hon. Cynthia Angelica M. Bacurnay. The resolution was passed on July 18, 2023.

The award of merit was received by Dr. Eduardo C. Corpuz, the Chancellor of MLUC, and Dr. Cedric Anthony E. Ochoco, the Dean of the College of Education last September 5, 2023.
